January Faves

Hello and Happy New Year!

New Year SAME ME. I have never been one to make major new year resolutions. I’m more of a monthly goal kind of person. I love writing down what I would like to achieve and mapping out how I’m going to get there.

I want to try something new. Every month I’m going to share with you guys a few skincare/beauty/hair care products I’m currently in love with. Hopefully you fall in love with them too!

One of my January goals is to to be nicer to my skin. NYC winters are super rough with the freezing temperatures. I feel as though people don’t always take the time to make sure their skin is protected and rejuvenated. It’s important people! I look at it as I’m not getting any younger so I need to get ahead of it while I can ūüôā

I use the Neutrogena Hydro boost water gel in the morning after using a face wash. I really like this product because it helps hydrate and brighten my skin. I have used it at night as well with the jade roller. LOVE LOVE LOVE the roller. I have noticed a difference after using it for a week. The jade roller helps reduce puffiness and draws away toxins.

If my skin is super dry in specific areas, usually my nose and chin, at night I will use the Tarte Maracuja Oil. It helps nourish the skin and is pretty light.

I have been using the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Face Scrub since highschool. I’ve always been a fan of Aveeno products because they leave my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Not to mention it smells amazing.

Unfortunately I ran out of shampoo and conditioner and was in the market to try something new. A lovely sales associate at Sephora put me onto the Amika shampoo and conditioner. I like it so far! It gives my hair some life and smells great. Lately I’ve been leaving my hair curly and I have noticed I can wear it down an extra day without washing it. WIN WIN if you ask me.

What is your favorite skincare product at the moment?
